Quintino Royal Z is the black pearl of our stud. He is labeled as a promising stallion from a great bloodline.

His sire comes from the tribe of Kannan and is better known as Quabri de l’Isle, who participated in the Olympic Games several times. Quintino’s 1st dam is Dechada and Dirk has always ridden her sire, named Orlando, the grandfather of Quintino.

We purchased Quintino as a 3-year-old horse at the Mechelen online auction. The choice for Quintino came because we were looking for something completely different from our Cote d’Or Z, and Quintino was the perfect fit. His good bloodline, his looks and his great quality convinced us with ease. In the finals of the 2023 Stallion Competition, Quintino got placed 3rd as a 5-year-old stallion.

In handling Quintino is super well behaved, he is a real teddy bear and loves attention. He is easy to ride and does not flinch easily. At the competition, he always keeps his cool and is calm.

Quintino has the potential to be able to perform at a high level when he’s older. He is lifelong approved for breeding by studbook Zangersheide.
